This was a complicated design. The architect had specified a down draft with a side vent out the peninsula to the wall, and because of wall placements, the space was tight. Had to request a specially constructed cabinet to accommodate both the cooktop and the uniquely configured down/side draft.
Design also required a sort of elevated pony wall. A partial height wall that was secured not to the floor but to the wall.
