Customer really wanted an island. Not a peninsula. And the island must have a seating area. And it must not be open on the sides. Will it be big enough? Will anyone be able to sit there? It turned out the answer was yes! Lots of detail in the island.

Job was delayed for a while. Contractor discovered issue with sub floor, ended up tearing sections of floor up, repairing joists.
Many of the glass cabinets arrived with cracked glass! Must have been dropped at some point in transit. Manufacturer was very good about replacing.
The separate downdraft unit from Broan was tricky to accommodate.
Sort of unique open shelves above refrigerator and above the built in microwave.
